This privacy policy applies to the Countdown - Days Event Timer app for mobile devices, operated by Tai Vo (collectively, the "Application" or "Service Provider").
We believe that your personal moments and events belong strictly to you. This policy outlines our commitment to user privacy, data handling, and security.
Information Collection and Use
Local Event Data: All your countdown events, titles, target dates, custom tags, and personal notes are stored locally on your device using on-device databases. We do not transmit, collect, or store your event data on our servers.
When you use the Application, diagnostic and analytics data may be automatically collected by third-party SDKs to help us improve app stability and user experience, including:
- Device model, operating system version, and system language
- App crash reports, performance statistics, and usage logs
- Anonymized session metrics (e.g., screen views and feature interactions)
Calendar Permissions
The Application may request permission to access your device's Calendar solely to support the Import from Calendar and Export to Calendar features. We only access calendar entries when you explicitly initiate these actions. Your calendar data is never uploaded, shared, or stored on external servers.
Notifications
The Application may request permission to send you local notifications and reminders so you never miss an upcoming countdown event. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device's system settings.
Photos and Media Permissions
If you choose custom background imagery or icons, the Application may request read-only access to your photo library. All image handling is processed entirely on your device. We do not collect or upload your photos to any remote server.
Analytics and App Tracking
Where required by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework (iOS 14.5+), the Application will request your explicit permission before collecting any tracking identifiers for analytics or personalized experiences.

Your Rights and Data Deletion
Because your event data is stored exclusively on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete individual events within the app or wipe all stored data by clearing the app data or uninstalling the Application.
